This is a historic place that has been open for over 100 years and has been managed by the Serratore family, of Calabrian origin, for 30 years.
Initially, the place was a cellar where it was possible to buy wine and oil; over time it became a tavern where diners could eat the dishes they brought from home accompanied by the wine offered by the host.
Later it was replaced by a pizzeria until the Serratore brothers, Giuseppe, Antonio and Rosario together with their brother-in-law Pino, decided to take over the place and transform it into a restaurant-pizzeria, La Pantera Rosa in Rome.
